SEGA Networks and gumi announced a partnership today to distribute SEGA Networks’ Japanese games in North America, Europe, South Asia and more territories. The first of these titles will be Chain Chronicle later this year, likely followed by Puyo Puyo!! Quest which raked in 10 million downloads in Japan. No other releases have been finalized.
Both companies will collaborate to provide localized support for player preferences, languages and gameplay environments.
gumi is best known through their subsidiary Alim Co., Ltd who launched the hit title Brave Frontier.
don’t care about any of that crap, I just want Yakuza 5 please.
Like Kamille said, I’d love some Yakuza 5.
That said, I don’t mind Sega’s mobile ventures. A lot of their stuff is pretty decent, Kingdom Conquest II chief among that list.
