We're in the endgame now and its time to get you the final batch of costumes in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. This portion of the costume guide focuses on the final chapters of the game, so please beware of potential spoilers. We'll be covering Chapters 12-16. Do note that Chapters 11 and 15 contain no outfits, so feel free to play through them without fear of missing a chest. Additionally, the Chapter 16 costumes are earned after beating the chapter.
Like with the last 10 chapters, the same rules apply here. Some chests you’ll be able to see from a distance, others will require more exploration. If you’re told to go down a certain path, be sure to look around for a divergent path. Also be on the lookout for scratches on surfaces, movable blocks, wooden pallets or small holes. Some chests you’ll need help from your fellow Guardians to reach.
Do note that some costumes can be acquired early via pre-ordering certain editions. We’ll highlight them in their respective chapter. Despite this, all costumes can be unlocked in-game.
Chapters 12 - 16
Chapter 12
Character: Drax
Costume: Thanos Imperative

At the very start of the level, after you defeat all the goons on the landing platform, you should be able to spot the chest resting on top of an out-of-reach platform. To the right is another platform, underneath which is a container Drax can pull out of its location. Use that to jump onto the higher platforms and claim the chest.
This costume can be unlocked early by pre-ordering the game.
Character: Rocket Raccoon
Costume: The Smuggler

Find this one in the marketplace after you beat up a batch of goons. While following the Faith Energy, you’ll come to a fissure on your left and a glowing green bar on your right. Use your Elemental Blasters’ wind ability to pry open the bar and claim the chest inside.
Character: Groot
Costume: Impaler

Be on the lookout for this chest towards the end of the marketplace. You’ll come across an object you’ll need to help Drax move. Before doing that, look to the left to find another glowing-green object. Use your wind ability to pull it down and then have Groot create a bridge. This leads to a tunnel with a double red door at the end. Shoot the battery case above it and then use your electrical Elemental Blasters to send power to the door.
Once inside, you’ll need to send Rocket through a small hole on the left to shut down the power and make it safe to walk through the puddle. Once done, stroll on over and open the chest.

Costume: Casual Kill

During the bridge setpiece, there’ll come a moment when you’ll need to use Drax to break apart the ground and create a slope. Once you use, turn around immediately to find a small tunnel. Go through it and find the chest waiting on the other side.
Character: Star-Lord
Costume: Apocalypse-Lord

After rescuing Cosmo, you’ll eventually find yourself fighting enemies on a sandy arena. You’ll have Drax move a pillar to a platform you can climb up. Rather than follow the critical path to the left, keep going straight till you get to a scratched wall. Have Gamora give you lift on that wall and jump to the platform on the right. At the end of the platform awaits the chest.
Chapter 13
Character: Gamora
Costume: Black Vortex

After the very first encounter with enemies, don’t use Gamora to slice through the icicles. Instead, look slight to the right to see a rockface with scratches. Have Gamora give you a boost up and you’ll see the chest right in front of you.

Costume: Five O’Clock Sprouts

During the early segments of the chapter, you’ll be asked to shimmy across a long, curved wall. At the end, you’ll enter a cave. Right by the entrance and to your right is a small alcove with the chest lying there.
Character: Star-Lord
Costume: War-Lord

Find this chest right after getting the plasma ability for the Elemental Blasters. Once you platform past the dinosaur bones you’ll notice a small pool of water. Look up to find some ice you can melt, which drops a pellet for Groot to lift up. Take it up about halfway to find a small alcove with the chest.
War-Lord is automatically unlocked should you link your Square Enix account. If you do this, the chest will not appear here.
Character: Rocket Raccoon
Costume: The Stinger

You’ll come across this in an open area filled with toxic spore plants. Stick to the right and keep traveling towards the back. You’ll come across a slight elevated space surrounded by three of those spore plants. Use your plasma Elemental Blasters to destroy them and claim the chest.

Costume: Katathian Monk

After leaving the burnt village you’ll slide down a giant, exhilarating slope. After that, there are some platforms to the left covered in the spore plants. Deal with them and climb the platform to get the chest.
Chapter 14
Characters: Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket Raccoon, Groot
Costumes: Gold-Lord, Golden Guardians

You get all five costumes just for starting Chapter 14.
Character: Star-Lord
Costume: Team-Lord

Acquire this during while making your way through the wind tunnel. Towards the end, you’ll be able to platform up to the left to reach a higher set of platforms. Up there you’ll see the chest on a platform across the way. Just be careful. That wind will send you flying if you don’t time it properly.

Costume: Five Horsemen of the Apocalypse

While making your way through the Church’s outsides, you’ll get to a point where a cutscene of Lady Hellbender and Fin Fang Foom decimate all enemies in the area. Follow the path towards the end where Groot creates a bridge to cross. Don’t cross it. Instead, turn to the right and follow that path. After melting ice and some light platforming, you’ll find the chest high up on a platform.
Character: Gamora
Costume: Chosen Daughter

Deep in the mines, you’ll find a chasm where you’ll need to freeze a geyser of water to cross. To the left are additional geysers. Freeze them and follow them to a fissure. Go through the fissure to find the chest alongside plenty of components.
Chapter 16
Character: Star-Lord
Costumes: Sleek Lord, Space-Lord, Social-Lord, City-Lord, Sun-Lord

All of these costumes are unlocked upon completing Chapter 16. Sun-Lord and City-Lord are automatically unlocked if you purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition. Social-Lord is automatically unlocked if you purchase the game digitally.
