Following the opening of a brand new, Montreal-based developer by the name of Typhoon Studios, Italy-based 505 Games have confirmed they will be helping with publishing duty for what is Typhoon's debut, multi-platform project currently in development. Typhoon Studios was founded by industry veterans Alex Hutchinson (Far Cry, Assassin's Creed, The Sims), Yassine Riahi (Batman: Arkham series) and Reid Schneider (Battlefield, Splinter Cell) and is has already built itself into a team of roughly twenty people.

"As a smaller independent studio, finding partners who will support our creative vision by giving us the freedom to build our game our way is a top priority." Hutchinson explains. "505 Games not only provides us that creative control, they offer deep support from a partner who really understands how to elevate indie games and bring out the best in the studios they team up with. Their track record speaks for itself."

It's the latest in a growing list of upcoming independant/AA titles to be published by 505 Games, with the likes of Remedy's Control, Lab Zero Games' Indivisible and even Koji Igarashi's crowd-funded Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, all planned for release sometime in 2019.
