A Plague Tale: Innocence Shows Off Gameplay in New Clip

The last time we checked in on A Plague Tale: Innocence, it had gone gold and received a new trailer. However, said trailer was merely accolades, and didn’t show anything in terms of gameplay. Well, allow Focus and Asobo to remedy that with a gameplay overview trailer, which you can check out below. Showing off various aspects of the game, it should prepare you for for Amicia and Hugo’s adventure in a couple of weeks.

With our pair of siblings having to avoid both the Inquisition and swarms of ravenous disease-filled rats, they need to make use of what they have. The clip shows that while the kids obviously don’t have physical prowess, stealth and slingshots can get them around via clever maneuvers. Sometimes this means a peaceful distraction, sometimes a deadly trap. The two will also encounter other survivors who can assist them with new skills to get past various obstacles. Finally, we also have a few Last of Us-style puzzles that require teamwork. It’s a creepy adventure, but should be an interesting one, to say the least. A Plague Tale: Innocence arrives on May 14 for PS4, XB1, and PC.
