The curious and intriguing looking Alice VR recently managed to make it onto the radar around these parts after a fine showing at PAX Prime. Offering a full movement range without resorting to teleportation while managing to skip the potential motion sickness is one thing. Using Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland as an inspiration for a science fiction tale brings it to a whole new realm.

With that in mind, developer Carbon Studio has just announced a release date for the impending adventure title. Slated to release October 27, the game will be hitting PC, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and OSVR. With that platform base, it should be noted that this title can be played outside without a VR headset. Folks who purchase the title will also receive a copy of the ethereal soundtrack as well as a forty page digital artbook.

With this news, the studio has also released a dev diary. (Seen below). Entitled Finding Inspiration, the video goes into what went into the creation of the environments and story that players will experience at the end of the month. It can be said with certainty that I am looking forward to seeing the entire tale.
