In a financial report released today, SEGA revealed that Creative Assembly’s ‘Alien: Isolation’ had shipped 1.76 million retail copies across five platforms.

The latest entry in the franchise has been a critical and commercial success, as just last month it was announced that the game had surpassed 1 million in sales.

This news follows shortly after the release of a fourth DLC pack, entitled ‘Lost Contact.’ Post-launch content and support for the game has been steady, with a fifth and final expansion for the season pass still on its way.

Despite the success of ‘Alien: Isolation’, SEGA also reported a 93% drop in holiday-quarter profits over the previous year.
