The high-definition remake of the 3DS classic, Resident Evil: Revelations HD, is now up for pre-order on Amazon. Interested parties can pre-order any of the three console versions of the game, so deciding whether you want to experience the survival-horror excellence on PlayStation 3, Wii U or Xbox 360 is obviously of critical importance at this point.

For those out of the loop, this HD port will feature enhanced graphics and a series of new additions to its co-op Raid Mode, which will include new playable characters, weapons and difficulty levels. Resident Evil: Revelations HD is set for a May 21 release date on PC, PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360 for $49.99. Take notice that all versions will be receiving the retail treatment (barring the PC version), though PS3 and PC players will also have access to the game digitally on day one of its release. Downloadable versions for Wii U and Xbox 360 will reportedly follow sometime after the game's initial launch.

As seen below, the cover art right now looks to be of stock orientation, and is presumably going to change somewhere down the road. We here at Hardcore Gamer only hope that we get a final product akin to Resident Evil 1's cover, or maybe even REmake's. And in case you missed it, there's a heavy dose of sarcasm in that previous statement.
