When a product is emblazoned with "Analogue Interactive," you just know it's going to be expensive. The company came to notoriety by producing one of the first attractive Neo Geo CMVS consoles that was far and away the go-to CMVS until Omega came around. That line was expanded to nearly the breaking point with special edition consoles that cost nearly $2,000 and an odd all-in-one system, so now that Analogue has done practically everything they can do with the Neo, they're looking to expand to other retro consoles.

First up is the NES which is getting a makeover as the "Analogue Nt." The console takes an original NES CPU and PPU from damaged Famicoms and repackages them with a brand new motherboard that includes HDMI/RGB functionality. Priced at $499 (plus $79.00 for the HDMI adapter), the console is set to ship in February and today Analogue has announced that pre-orders have nearly sold out. The pre-order consoles include unique features such as "first edition" laser engraving and optional white controller ports.

Additionally, a set of high-resolution motherboard pictures have been released that are admittedly quite beautiful. Head over here to pre-order a console and check out the motherboard below:
