Since Monday, Apex Legends has garnered some impressive launch numbers, as EA was more than happy to share during its Q3 earnings call yesterday. In the first 24 hours, Apex Legends has netted over 2.5 million unique players, including nearly 600,000 simultaneous players at its peak. In addition to the promising launch, Respawn has shared its plans for the future of Apex Legends, which can be seen in the tweet above, as the developer plans to introduce new playable legends, weapons and loot every three months starting in March and running through the end of the year.
Apex Legends is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
