Apple Arcade Launches September 19 with Over 100 Titles

Apple today announced when Apple Arcade officially launches, and some new titles players will see.

The big news coming out of today’s Apple Event was inevitable new line of iPhones. However, Apple didn’t just dedicate time to their new hardware. The company also spent time on some of it’s new business initiatives, including their new gaming initiative, Apple Arcade. The gaming subscription services launches on September 19 on iPhones and will cost you $4.99 a month. Over 100 titles will be available on the platform in the coming weeks. The services launches on iPad and Apple TV September 30, and Mac in October.

Here are some of the new titles announced today:

  • ChuChu Rocket! Universe
  • Exit the Gungeon
  • Overland
  • Pac-Man Party Royale
  • Projection: First Light
  • Rayman Mini
  • Shantae and the Seven Sirens
  • Skate City
  • Sneaky Sasquatch
  • Steven Universe: Unleash the Light
  • Super Impossible Road
  • The Bradwell Conspiracy
  • The Enchanted World
  • Various Daylife

Apple Arcade is integrated into the App Store under a new Arcade tab. Subscribers can access that tab and download any of the games available on the service. According to Apple, all the games can be played offline. To provide additional flexibility, users can pair their game controllers with their iOS devices. If you own an Xbox Wireless Controller with Bluetooth or a DualShock 4, you can use. If not, all the games support touch controls and the Siri Remote.

Apple Arcade is out September 19 for $4.99. For those on the fence, Apple is offering a one month free trial.
