Apple has revealed a new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus color that benefits an organization working for a special cause.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition will add a vibrant red aluminum finish model for customers to purchase. 2017 marks the tenth anniversary of Apple and (RED)'s partnership. By purchasing a (RED) branded product from Apple, customers are contributing to the Global Fund who provides testing, counseling, treatment, and prevention programs to sub-Saharan Africa. The goal is to bring the world closer to an HIV/AIDS-free generation. Since being founded in 2009, (RED) has generated more than $465 million with $130 million coming from Apple. It's a fight Apple has been helping with for ten years, and will continue this year.

“Since we began working with (RED) 10 years ago, our customers have made a significant impact in fighting the spread of AIDS through the purchase of our products, from the original iPod nano (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition all the way to today’s lineup of Beats products and accessories for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “The introduction of this special edition iPhone in a gorgeous red finish is our biggest (PRODUCT)RED offering to date in celebration of our partnership with (RED), and we can’t wait to get it into customers’ hands."

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition will be available starting March 24 with 128GB and 256GB options starting at $749. Apple also introduced an updated version of the iPhone SE, which now comes with 32GB and 128GB of storage starting at $399. Unfortunately, there is no PRODUCT(RED) version of the SE.
