Assassin's Creed: Unity and its pesky framerate issues are about to be fixed. Ubisoft has confirmed that the much-needed patch 4 will go live Monday December 15 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Patch 4 specifically targets many of Assassin's Creed: Unity's technical issues, including the framerate. Upon release, Assassin's Creed: Unity was slammed for its numerous bugs, glitches, and framerate dips. Our own Matt Whittaker reviewed the game, stating that it, 'should be avoided until it’s sufficiently fixed.' You can find the whole list of fixes right here.

Ubisoft has also confirmed that this will be the last update released for the game before Christmas. A lot of people will be unwrapping Assassin's Creed: Unity this Christmas, so we hope that Ubisoft's final patch of 2014 renders the game 'sufficiently fixed."
