Atlus Teases Persona 5 R, More Info Coming in March

Just as fans expected after the project’s web domain was updated, Atlus has released a teaser for “Persona 5 R.” It’s about as bare bones as a teaser trailer can get, but at least fans now know that the game is real: whatever that might actually mean.

Since Atlus didn’t even so much as reveal the project’s actual title, fans likely won’t know what “Persona 5 R” actually is until March rolls around. However, the prevailing theory is that it’s an enhanced version of Persona 5. These enhancements could be anything, but there’s definitely a few decent ways Atlus could improve Persona 5 if they really wanted to. “Persona 5 R” could very well be something entirely different as well, like say a fighting game. Persona 4 got Persona 4: Arena after all, so it’s not too outlandish to think that fans might see Ryuji take on Kamoshida in a fist fight some day in the near future.

Persona 5 is available on PlayStation 4. Those who missed it should check out our review; it’s absolutely a game worth playing.
