Battlefield 1 Open Beta Closes This Week

Dice has confirmed that the Battlefield 1 open beta will shut down later this week.

The open beta for Battlefield 1 began on August 31, and is ending about a week later on September 8. The developer made the announcement on Twitter, leaving players with about two days left to get their fill before it ends.

The Battlefield 1 open beta has had its ups and downs. Shortly after launching August 31, EA’s servers were hit with a DDoS attack that took down multiple games, including the beta. Thankfully, EA was able to sort it out and get their games, and the beta, back up and running. Everything has been smooth sailing since, which we hope means that the game won’t suffer from any connectivity issues at launch.

Battlefield 1 is out October 21 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Those who played the beta on four different days and reach level 15 will get an exclusive dog tag for use in the full game.
