Visceral Games have opened the information floodgates for the upcoming Battlefield: Hardline beta. Today we know everything about the beta -- except for the release date, sadly.

This will be the second beta for Battlefield: Hardline, and unlike the first beta, will not be exclusive to PS4 and PC. Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360 players will also get to join in the mayhem this time around.

There will be two different maps (to be revealed at a later date) and two different game modes. First up is Hotwire, an all-new mode that combines warfare with speed. In this mode, your team will only get points when you're in a vehicle and driving fast. The second mode is fan-favorite Conquest. Enjoy all-out warfare in this 64-player fan favorite mode, which has been a staple since the launch of the franchise.

Visceral Games is very open and wants your constructive criticism. You will not be capped in terms of max progression, instead encouraged to try out the different classes and toy with the gadgets. By doing this, they hope to make Battlefield: Hardline a stronger game, and ensure this is the best launch ever for a Battlefield game.

Battlefield: Hardline is out March 17 on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Check back every Wednesday until launch for new Battlefield: Hardline information and scope new screenshots below:
