DICE today announced that a ton of new maps are coming to Battlefield V within the coming months.
Content releases for Battlefield V are about to start picking up. After months of nothing, DICE finally released the new Mercury map last week. It turns out that this is just the beginning of a storm of new maps coming to the game.
Tides of War’s Chapter 4: Defying the Odds aims to deliver a total of four maps over three months when it kicks off June 27. The North African map Al Sundan arrives in June, and the Greek map Marita in July. In August, we get two maps, Lofoten Islands and Provence. Operation Underground comes in October, which appears to be a remake of the popular Operation Metro map from Battlefield 3.
Finally, the trailer ends with a tease of Battlefield V’s future. We’re heading to the Pacific theatre next! The battle between the United States and Japan will be the next major location Battlefield V visits, which means new factions, vehicles, weapons, and distinctive maps. The trailer ends by teasing the iconic M1 Garand rifle, a gun many were disappointed wasn’t available at launch.
Battlefield V is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
