BioWare has officially pulled the plug on the Multiplayer Technical Test for Mass Effect Andromeda that was supposed to be happening around now, according to a blog post on Thursday.

The Beta was announced last year, and sign ups have been available since then. The main purpose of the blog post was actually to detail what they'll be showing at PAX East next weekend. Mass Effect Andromeda's multiplayer will be playable at the show.

The EA Access trial will still be happening, though, which will give players an early look at the game if they are subscribed to the service. Fernando Melo, a producer at BioWare noted his apologies for the cancellation on Twitter:

He also posted a screenshot of the multiplayer to tide people over, showing off and confirming that you will indeed be able to play as various species from the world of Mass Effect in the multiplayer mode.
