Two years ago, Seville-based developers The Game Kitchen had a highly successful Kickstarter campaign for Blasphemous, their upcoming action-platformer. Having reached its funding goal more than six times over, it’s safe to say a lot of people are eagerly anticipating it. Well, Blasphemous still doesn’t have a set release date yet, but today saw a major development. The Steam page for the game is now live, enabling gamers to wishlist and follow it from there. In addition, a new trailer was released for the game, which you can check out below.
Mind you, it’s not entirely a “new” trailer here. As mentioned in its description, it’s a bit of a “remake” of the original Kickstarter trailer. Structurally, it’s the same, as seen with the beginning and ending, but now it showcases updated graphics and different areas, among other things. Indeed, the pixel art in this gory adventure about a twisted religion looks quite impressive. Blasphemous will see a release on Steam in the near future, with simultaneous releases for all other major platforms.
