The latest entry in EA’s flagship racing series has seen a surprisingly quiet path to launch.
After skipping E3, Need for Speed waited until shortly before Gamescom to offer both the reveal trailer and first in-game look at the latest open world racer, Need for Speed Heat. In those three months since, fans have yet to see another look at the game until now, with a (likely final) launch trailer less than two weeks before release. While this lackluster marketing could stir some caution in an already crowded holiday season, the promise of thirty-two player racing set in Miami with a larger emphasis on police opposition and car customization is still compelling in its own right.
Check out the launch trailer below for Need for Speed Heat, which launches on November 8 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
