Infinity Ward has announced a special Alpha Test for their new Gunfight game mode.

Gunfight is an intense new game mode coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. This 2v2 mode drops you and an ally into a small map with random weapons and gear. The goal, win three of five duels. It’s an exciting addition to the Call of Duty franchise, and players on PS4 can try it out this weekend.

Beginning this Friday, August 23, PS4 players can download and play the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2v2 Open Alpha Test. During the test, players can try Gunfight on five different 2v2 maps. You don’t need to pre-order the game or have PS+ to participate. Unfortunately, the test isn’t coming to Xbox One or PC.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out October 25 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A proper open beta for all platforms takes place in September.
