Activison and Infinity have kicked off the second beta weekend for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Those looking to play some Call of Duty: Modern Warfare ahead of its scheduled launch can now hop back into the beta. Beta weekend two is upon us, and now even more players can test out the game. Featuring new content not previously available last week, including cross-play, fans are sure to get a good taste of what Infinity Ward has in store for them.
First off, the beta is available for all PS4 owners regardless of whether you pre-ordered or not. It’s a different situation for Xbox One and PC players. Today and tomorrow, September 20, only those who got a code from pre-ordering can participate in the beta. However, on Saturday, September 21, the beta goes live for everyone on all platforms.
As for content, the second weekend adds in the 2v2 Gunfight. While PS4 players got to test out this mode thanks to an alpha, this will be the first time Xbox One and PC owners can get their hands on it. Here are all the maps available in the beta:
- King 2v2
- Pine 2v2
- Stack 2v2
- Gun Runner 6v6
- Hackney Yard (Day) 6v6
- Azhir Cave (Day) 6v6
- Grazna Raid 10v10
As for game modes, you’ll get to participate in Team Deathmatch, Domination, Headquarters, and Cyber Attack in addition to Gunfight. Meanwhile, progression has also been pushed up to level 20, up from 10 last weekend.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out October 25 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
