Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software today announced new content coming to Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone as Operation: Monarch winds down.

Godzilla and King Kong's time in Call of Duty have come to an end. Operation: Monarch, which saw both Titans appear on Caldera in Call of Duty: Warzone wraps up tomorrow, May 24. Coming in on that event's heels is a mid-season update that rolls out on May 24 for Call of Duty: Vanguard and May 25 for Call of Duty: Warzone.

Call of Duty: Warzone is, once again, the main beneficiary of this update. Coming in hot is the Underground Transit System, which will allow players to fast travel across 14 access points on the map. Think of it like the subway system in Verdansk. Vangaurd's Serpentine perk, which decreases incoming damage while sprinting, also makes its way to Verdansk alongside new items like the Gulag Entry token, Redeploy Extraction token, the Radar Jammer, and a Speed Boost buff.

Call of Duty: Vanguard was completely left out of the Operation: Monarch event, and got very little content at the launch of Season 3. Unfortunately, not much has changed for this mid-season update. As promised, there's one new multiplayer map in Sphere, a small style map.

In terms of other content shared between Vangaurd and Warzone, there's a new operator (Kim Tae Young) and weapon (H4 Blixen). You can unlock the Blixen by purchasing a blueprint bundle, or by completing an in-game challenge (get 3 slide kills in a single match 15 times).

Call of Duty: Vanguard is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Call of Duty: Warzone is available to play for free on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
