Capcom announced today that this vastly-improved version of the 2002 GameCube "REmake" will be coming out in North America and Europe for the Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One, PS4, and PC in early 2015. The lighting effects have received the most impressive overhaul, as the character models look quite similar to the initial REmake.

The upgraded version features 16:9 widescreen support, and  players will be able to choose between the original "tank" controls and a more conventional control scheme. This is definitely a step in the right direction for Capcom, who has been accused of losing their way over the past few years. It's moves like this that engender goodwill with their fanbase.
