Capcom has announced today that they will bringing the wild and crazy JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure to the current generation of consoles. This is a partial remake of the classic Dreamcast fighter, similar to what Street Fighter III: Third Strike was, offering HD visuals and new gameplay mechanics that takes a cue from other improved Capcom fighting games. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure HD Ver. will also have a multiplayer mode in which you can store and compete against up to eight different players in a lobby, Mortal Kombat style.
While this HD version has only been announced, expect to see it released next month, August 21st and August 22nd, on Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade, respectively. Surprisingly, the game will launch at $19.99/1600 MSP, a little higher than we’ve come to expect with HD iterations of Capcom fighting games. Regardless, It’s good to have JoJo back once again.
