Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls has been out for quite a while on Apple Arcade, which remains the only way to enjoy the game after it was cancelled from its more traditional mobile release. Offering up a free-to-play model with a variety of premium currency, the core game feels very much like a bite-sized version of a more traditional Castlevania experience with a diverse roster across over 30 years of the franchise’s history.

The game has seen a few small updates, but the the new update offers up new boss battles and a new equipment system. New story content is thrown into the mix as well to add some lore to those new boss battles. Grimoire of Souls is one of many Apple Arcade games playable across iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and iMac – enabling a wide variety of device-owners to enjoy the experience.
