CHIKARA: Action Arcade Wrestling came to life a year or so ago, and is aiming for a PC, Xbox One, and PS4 release. The developers announced today that the game is now running in a very early form on the PS4. This early prototype only showed two generic wrestlers, but does show that the game is running on the PS4 in some form and the use of Unreal Engine 4 was praised for allowing it to be a seamless transition.

The original Action Arcade Wrestling games were released on the Xbox 360's Xbox Live Arcade service and garnered a nice following - with the sequel especially showing off a high amount of quality gameplay and options packed into a small game. The third entry brings with it the CHIKARA license and a chance to broaden that company's appeal while also opening a door for independent pro wrestling companies to possibly get their own games, or be part of a game, in the future.
