As of today, Children of Morta is now available for everyone to check out, and we certainly recommend that you do so, as seen in our review for the game. After five years in development, Dead Mage and 11 Bit Studios have produced a truly impressive roguelike game that seems to be winning over several gamers so far. And as the cherry on top, the game’s launch is now accompanied by an impressive animated launch trailer, which you can check out below.

Given that the game has a strong emphasis on family, the trailer focuses on the Bergson family themselves. We get to see sequences for each of our protagonists that highlight their personalities and skills, before preparing to set forth on their latest journey to protect Mount Morta. The game proper, of course, uses its own gorgeous hi-bit pixel art style and sees you making your way through various dungeons as one of the Bergsons, engaging in top-down combat. Children of Morta is available now for PC, which XB1, PS4, and Switch versions to follow on October 15.
