Well, so far Death Stranding has a cast that consists of nearly everyone from Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen to Troy Baker, Nicolas Winding Refn, and Geoff Keighley. So with a cast that as varied such as this, why the hell not throw in a cameo from Conan O’Brien as well? While the talk show host was touring Japan for one of his segments, he decided to drop by the offices of Hideo Kojima, where his team placed him into the game as an NPC, as seen in the clip below.

Conan is certainly no stranger to the world of gaming, either playing them as part his show’s “Clueless Gamer” segments, or doing other cameos for games such as Lego Batman 3. But still, given Death Stranding’s prominence as one of the year’s most anticipated games, this is quite the honor. And lest you think this is all for show, if you do happen to find the vault containing Conan’s prepper character The Wandering MC, he gifts you with a sea otter hat which allows players to swim more easily, as seen in the trailer below via Kojima’s tweet. Death Stranding comes out on November 8 for the PS4, and has us wondering if there will be even more cameos to discover…
