Back in July of this year, developer Two Point Games stated that the console ports to their well-received debut game, Two Point Hospital, would be releasing some point in late 2019. However, with a little over two months left of the year, it's been confirmed today that that vague window of release has now been pushed back to somewhere within the first half of next year.

"Our community have asked for Two Point Hospital on consoles for a while now and we want to make sure we deliver a game that can be enjoyed to the fullest on all platforms", Mark Webley, Game Director at Two Point Studios explained. "This means we will need a little bit more time to optimise the game to ensure the best possible experience across all platforms." As stated on their official blog, the team put the additional time required, down to working with three different consoles at the same time, working out how best to engineer the game across all platforms. Two Point Hospital originally released for PC in August of last year.
