It took multiple restraining orders to convince me that I was too old to trick-or-treat, and when Costume Quest first launched on PSN and XBLA in 2010, I was ecstatic. Finally, the ability to knock on strangers doors without hearing things like "what the hell are you doing in my house!?" Or, "for the last time, we don't have candy! It's February you maniac!"

The charming Double Fine RPG has now made its way to iOS devices, and it's better than ever. That's right creepy adults, you can now trick-or-treat on the go (as long as you own an iPhone or iPad of some capable sort). You'll still complete quirky quests, assemble a team, trick-or-treat your way through gorgeous environments, and transform into powerful beings by collecting costumes along your path. The difference is, you'll be doing so in the palm of your hands.

The title is priced reasonably at $4.99, with the Grubbins on Ice DLC available for $1.99 through an in-app purchase. If you missed the original and are looking for a fun RPG to remind you of why it truly sucks to be a grownup, don't hesitate to give this a purchase. You'll only regret it if your Halloween experience consisted of watching your dad "check the candy for poison" while your mother forced you to massage around your grandmas varicose veins.
