Crash Bandicoot’s anticipated return to PlayStation smashed records in the UK.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is quite good, and it would seem a lot of players were excited for the return of the former PlayStation mascot. Not only was it the best-selling game of the past week, but it also became the country’s biggest exclusive release of 2017, edging fellow PS4 exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn out of the spot. Only Ghost Recon: Wildlands, a multi-platform title, had a bigger week one than Crash Bandicoot.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is another home run for the PlayStation platform. Fellow PS4 exclusives Wipeout: Omega Collection, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Nioh all topped the UK charts upon release. The game is also a huge win for Activision and Vicarious Visions, who put a lot of effort into remastering Naughty Dog’s trilogy of games.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is out now on PS4.
