Due to the fiasco that was the Cyberpunk 2077 launch, the game has been unavailable on the PlayStation Store. Sony initially took it down so as to "ensure a high level of customer satisfaction" after angry customers flooded the internet with complaints and videos of various glitches. While the game was certainly playable on decent PCs and current-gen consoles, it was in a sorry state to say the least on last-gen systems.

As of today though, it seems Cyberpunk 2077 is finally in a state that Sony deems acceptable for distribution via the PlayStation Store. Those that are still interested in giving CD Projekt Red's cyberpunk RPG a try can now do so digitally if they so desire. Still, those thinking of jumping-in on PS4 should be aware that there are still performance issues. CD Projekt Red has basically said as much, saying that fans should still play on PS4 Pro and PS5 if they have the  option.
