After much anticipation, fans of the Dark Souls series will finally be able to play Dark Souls Remastered on the Nintendo Switch. Originally intended to release at the same time as the remaster for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, the Nintendo Switch version ran into some development snags and required more time to prepare. However, players will now be able to  praise the sun wherever they go when Dark Souls Remastered releases for the Switch on October 19. To coincide with the game's release, the Solaire of Astora amiibo will also launch the same day. An online network test will be scheduled prior to release in order to prepare online capabilities for the game. More information about this network test will be released closer to the launch date. Dark Souls Remastered is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
