The end of August is approaching. Some lucky gamers might be preparing for PAX West. Others are hiding inside until the heat finally dies down. Both types are probably looking to save some cash, so the PlayStation Network Flash Sale is particularly well timed. It looks like a good one, too.

Highlights include a few visual novels for the Vita, including the BlazBlue spin off XBlaze: Lost Memories. Supergiant Games fans can snag Bastion or Transistor for a new platform for less than five bucks each. The underrated RPG Resonance of Fate is also going for six bucks. Honestly, there are quite a few bargains here and it's certainly worth a look for any PlayStation fan looking to stock up.
