Iconoclasts is a fairly new release and is an incredible Metroidvania-style game - and a great value for its sale price. The Jazz Jackrabbit games have held up nicely, and the GOG versions do support Xbox 360/Xbox One controllers with ease thanks to joystick mapping - so playing them on modern setups is easy. Freedom Planet is a love letter to classic Sonic with new elements, while A Hat in Time manages to take 3D platforming and not only do it well, but add a lot of humor and unique touches to its presentation to deliver one of the most rewarding takes on that genre in years.
