Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is looking pretty rad. As many a dusty Wii U can prove, there's not exactly a game with lasting appeal on the console, so a free to play MMORPG may be just what the Dr. Mario ordered. With full online multiplayer and local co-op, however, players are going to want to get in as much time with the game as possible anywhere they can. The 3DS version of the game will certainly help with that, but at $39.99, it would bring the experience to a whopping hundred bucks.

Capcom and Amazon have seemingly realized this, however, so the online retailer is now offering both games together for $79.92 -- a savings of $20. To get the savings, you must pre-order in the "Best Value" Section of either page. Those will existing pre-orders will need to cancel and order again.

It may not beat Cross-Buy, but hey, if you were going to get the Wii U version anyway, this basically gets you the 3DS version for twenty bucks more.
