Death Stranding Gets a Lengthy Launch Trailer

Well, after what feels like an eternity of waiting, Death Stranding is only just over a week away from finally being released. Easily one of the year’s most anticipated games, the latest title from Hideo Kojima has been shrouded in mystery, but still built up as an epic journey. And appropriately enough, this epic journey receives an epic launch trailer. Clocking in at nearly eight minutes, the latest video was put together by Kojima himself, and yet again, isn’t afraid to showcase the more surreal stuff.

Once again, the focus is on Sam Bridges, played by Norman Reedus, and his journey heading westward, with a goal of uniting the remain parts of the United States after a terrible disaster. Said journey just happens to involve a bottled Bridge Baby that he carries around, inky Eldritch leviathans, Troy Baker in a gold mask attempting to kickstart another apocalypse, and a what appears to be a fifty-foot Lindsay Wagner, among other things. Keep in mind that this is a Hideo Kojima trailer here, though, and a lot of his trailers tend to be known for misdirection. Death Stranding will hit the PS4 on November 8, with a PC version due in Summer 2020.
