2018 is here and with it comes a smattering of new content, trials, and in-game events for Battlefield 1.

DICE and EA's Battlefield 1 may be over a year old now, but that's not stopping the train of content coming to the game. With one-and-a-half more expansions to deliver, 2018 is going to be a busy year for Battlefield 1. With plenty of trials and in-game events to participate in, there's going to be something for every player.

It all begins with the Battlefield 1: Turning Tides - Gallipoli Trial. Between January 16 and January 22, all Battlefield 1 players can battles on the Gallipoli Peninsula. If you're a base game player, this is your chance to try out the content available in the first half of the Turning Tides expansion. Furthermore, the trial also allows base game players to try the content available in the In the Name of the Tsar and They Shall Not Pass expansions. The Prise de Tahure map will also be made free for every player to play on.

Those who do own the Premium Pass will soon get to play the second half of the Turning Tides DLC. This content includes the final two maps, Zeebrugge and Heligoland Bight, the British Royal Marines faction, and the new C-Class Airship.

Finally, Battlefield 1: Apocalypse news is coming. DICE confirmed that we'll receive details concerning the fourth and final DLC expansion real soon. We'll just have to wait a little bit longer.

Battlefield 1 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
