Dice LA may be developing the final two Battlefield 4 expansion packs, but Dice is still working on making the base game as good as possible.  The developer has revealed that the next update for the game will focus on the dreaded 'netcode issues' that have plagued the game.

These problems range from faulty networking latency compensation to glitches in the gameplay.  These are top priorities for the developer and they promise a fix soon.  The player's interactions in the game will be fixed first.  These include the way you move and shoot, the feedback from being hit and the way other player's actions are displayed.  Fixes have been found to decrease the impressions of "one hit kills."  One-hit-kills have been an issue since launch and we're glad this is getting fixed.

There are several other fixes in the works that will be released in future updates.  A month ago EA revealed that they had stopped development on all future Dice projects in order to fix the base game.  While there has been great improvement, Battlefield 4 still needs some more work.

Battlefield 4 is out now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
