The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim work has officially wrapped. No more new content or updates are planned for the critically acclaimed and commercially successful RPG from Bethesda. Anticipation for Bethesda’s next project has been heavily heating up, but we’re going to have to wait a bit longer.
Recently it was discovered that Bethesda Executive Pete Hines would be traveling to Los Angeles over the weekend. For those that are unaware, this weekend is also when Spike will air their VGX awards show. Here Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, EA, Activision, Capcom and other publishers will be debuting new trailers for upcoming titles and brand new, unannounced games. Speculation began boiling that Bethesda would be announcing Fallout 4. Alas, this doesn’t appear to be the case.
Hines recently tweeted that he is in LA for PR meetings, not to attend the awards show. “No, folks. I am not going to VGX. Bethesda is not showing/talking about anything at VGX. Just some PR meetings in LA. Take deep breaths.”
Looks like we’ll have to wait a bit longer for Fallout 4 or whatever Bethesda is currently working on.
