Alright, Inklings. Tonight's the night.

At 9 PM PT, the first North American Splatfest of 2016 is set to kick off, pitting Team Past against Team Future. Have you pledged your allegiance to a side yet? Picked out your gear? Polished your Splattershot Jr.? Remember: if you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail.

As the first Splatfest since the end of the holiday season, there will surely be a number of inexperienced Inklings out there; maybe some of you are even reading this now. Nothing can supplement the experience of true competition, but I will say this: Splat fast, splat hard, and splat until the last second passes. And if you want to be on the right side of history, join Team Future.
