Last year, Bethesda revealed that both The Elder Scrolls Online and Doom Eternal would be getting next-gen versions with upgraded performances at no additional cost for players who already own them.

Now, the publisher has announced that the next update for Doom Eternal will include the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S enhancements and is scheduled to deploy on June 29. The PS5 and Xbox Series X versions will support three different presentation modes, Performance, Balanced and Ray Tracing, while the Series S version will only offer the first two. All three versions of the game will be able to run up to 120 FPS when utilizing Performance mode, and 60 FPS on all other modes, and will feature dynamic resolution scaling to help the game perform better during its more chaotic moments. Finally, PC players will also receive the Ray Tracing mode on the same day.
