Earlier today, NIS America released a tweet announcing that the license to Atlus's RPG Dragon's Crown has expired and that the game has been removed from the PS Store, but the tweet has been removed since then. Just yesterday, Dragon's Crown was announced to be at a discount on the store on the European PlayStation Blog, but it was oddly pulled from the store hours later.

Any European players who have purchased the game from the store will still be able to download it, but to new users they're unfortunately out of luck for now considering physical copies are rare. NIS America put out an official statement today about their removal of the game from the EU store.

"With regards to our previous statements on Dragon's Crown for the European PSN, we must extend our deepest apologies to Atlus and European fans regarding the incorrect information about the removal from this store," it reads.

"The removal of Dragon's Crown from the European PSN was part of NIS America's and Atlus's mutual agreement on this title. We are happy to announce that Dragon's Crown will be available directly from Atlus in Europe through PSN."

The game is planned to return to the store, but as of right now there is no date for when that might be.
