UK-based Dreadbit Games have dropped an almighty bombshell by announcing that players won't have to wait long for the full official release of their upcoming side-scrolling action title, Seraph. Having been in Early Access since late April of this year, the game will leave this state and enter its full build on September 20 for PC -- a mere two weeks from now. There's been no confirmation so far on a PS4 release though the game is still slated to come to Sony's console at some point in the future.

It's no secret this has been a title we've been keeping a close eye on since we first got hands-on at this year's EGX Rezzed back in April. And judging from its current approval rating over on Steam, it seems many others have been long awaiting the game's official release. "We’re so very proud of the game and what it’s become over the past few months,' Dreadbit explained on announcing the date. "We’ve had tonnes of feedback from our Early Access players and implemented a great deal of their suggestions, too. And now, it’s finally ready! The wait is nearly over and Seraph will be with you all just two weeks from now."

Dreadbit have also put together a new trailer to celebrate the announcement which you can view below.
