Driveclub, Sony's troubled PlayStation 4 racer, has just had its price slashed on the PlayStation Store pretty dramatically.

The base game will now cost just $14.99, reduced from a June price cut to $39.99. The season pass has similarly been reduced to $12.99, bringing the entire total cost of the game and all its downloadable content to under $30. But wait, there's more.

If you're a PlayStation Plus member, the deal gets even sweeter. You're already entitled to the free PlayStation Plus Edition of the game that included limited content, but now you can upgrade to the full version and get the season pass for just $20. The price cuts happened in Europe last week, but now they're available in North America as well.

These prices are apparently permanent and not a limited-time sale, so there's no rush to go get Driveclub all of a sudden. It is still Driveclub, after all. Download the PlayStation Plus Edition if you can and test a test drive before you drive this car off the lot.
