Microsoft announced a new initiative today at E3 called Xbox Play Anywhere, which allows games to be bought once, and playable on both Xbox consoles and Windows 10 PCs. When you buy a game on your Xbox One, it will transfer over to your Windows 10 library seamlessly.

During the conference, Xbox's Phil Spencer said, "We've made a commitment to bring our first-party games to Windows and Xbox One." This means that future games from Microsoft will all be cross-play as well as cross-buy. The company has also said that while at first, Play Anywhere will include mostly first party games, third party games are coming as well.

Here is the full list of games coming to Xbox Play Anywhere for now:

  • ARK: Survival Evolved
  • Cuphead
  • Everspace
  • Forza Horizon 3
  • Gears of War 4
  • Halo Wars 2
  • Killer Instinct: Season 3
  • ReCore
