704Games has announced the next NASCAR game coming to consoles and PC. The sequel to NASCAR Heat Evolution, NASCAR Heat 2, will be offering much more than just a yearly roster update. Due to release on September 12, NASCAR Heat 2 will feature not only the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, but also the Xfinity Series, and the Camping World Truck Series. This will be the first NASCAR game to include the trucks in over fifteen years. To add even more sweetness to the game, it will include six new tracks with three being road courses and one being a dirt track. Yes racing fans, Eldora will be playable in a video game. NASCAR Heat 2 will offer a deeper career mode supporting all three national racing series, upgraded visuals, physics and damage models, expanded online multiplayer functionality, and the return to the franchise of two-player local multiplayer.
