The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit can now be preloaded on Xbox One ahead of its release later this month.

The Microsoft Store has listed Dontnod Entertainment’s forthcoming standalone experience, which clocks in at a 96.68MB download.

Captain Spirit’s page also reveals a different release date and time for Xbox One owners in the UK, with the demo unlocked on June 25 at 5:00 p.m. GMT. Dates and times could vary across the world, similar to how episodes were released for Deck Nine’s Life Is Strange: Before the Storm.

The PlayStation 4 version of Captain Spirit is not available for preload at this moment in time.

Debuting at Microsoft’s E3 press conference, Captain Spirit is set in the same universe as Life Is Strange and features hidden clues relating to Life Is Strange 2.

Since its reveal, the Captain Spirit developer has shared a behind-the-scenes video, breaking down some information on protagonist Chris and how the demo is connected to Life Is Strange 2.

Toby Palm, the community manager for Life Is Strange, has put forward his views on Captain Spirit’s value, calling it a “significant piece of content” and not a “quick throwaway.”

It has previously been confirmed that choices and actions in Captain Spirit would have some form of impact on Life Is Strange 2.

Captain Spirit is scheduled for release on June 26 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
