Monster Hunter has traditionally been aimed at two different ways to play; single player, or online with three other hunters. As such the game was mainly balanced to account for four players at once while online. While this is fine, it's often hard to find a full group of three other hunters to go in with at once, and online can make the fight challenging. Fortunately the Capcom Iceborne stream confirmed a brand new change in that there will now be two player balancing if just a pair of hunters are going at it together. This means going in with one other friend will making fighting these big bad monsters much more balanced, which is great for those who just want to go in together or can't find any other hunters to help out.
