Nightdive Studios, the company behind the much-anticipated System Shock 1 remake, has just announced their intention to take a crack at the sequel eventually too. The news came just the other day via a post on Twitter, wherein the studio showed-off a title splash image. Check it out below!

Nightdive Studios hasn’t offered any further details beyond this so far, saying only that System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition is now in development. For those wondering how the enhanced System Shock 1 project is progressing, the developer recently made an update on the Kickstarter page. The project is still steadily moving forward, but it’s probably still going to be a little while before the complete game makes into fans and backers’ hands. Still, it’s better than having the project remain on indefinite hiatus.

System Shock Remastered will eventually release for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
